Please tell our readers anything you would like about making rosaries for our military.  We have hundreds of readers sending rosaries overseas.  If you have a story, they would love to read about it.  And please post where you are sending the rosaries.  Some of our readers might send more.

An Air Force chaplain told me how much rosaries are needed for our troops, both at home and overseas. He told me, though, that many of the young soldiers have never prayed a rosary before and don't really know how to do it, and asked that our group also include "How To Pray the Rosary" pamphlets with our shipment, if possible.

I have given our pastor pocket rosaries for the young men in our church who are going overseas. The interesting thing is our church is a Lutheran one. I am a fallen Catholic who would like one day to return back home, but until the time is right, the Lord has found me a welcoming home. My pastor knows my situation and my devotion to the Rosary. He shared with me a Lutheran rosary. I had the prayers printed on a fold out paper for the young men and presented their families with the rosaries. One mom was very moved and told me that she bought her own mother (who had been away from the church for many years) a new rosary to strengthen her faith. The Rosary brings about wonderful conversions even for our Protestant Brothers.

I make a Mother of Freedom and companion chaplet. To make it personal I use the military insignia's for the arm of the service as a center. I have sold the rosary and then had orders for chaplets so the family become united with the oversees person.
